Background: The Asian Games...and China (in the white caps) had a convincing 20-2 win over India in their water polo match in New Delhi on November 21. The win boosted China's gold medal tally to three, and their total number of medals to ten - two behind Japan. The Chinese have fielded a strong contingent for the Games. They were always on top against India, with their passing superb, and their aiming at goal impeccable. The Indians managed some attacking moves, but these foundered against the capable Chinese goalkeeper. The Games have been marred by demonstrations by Sikh militants who have ignored a government ban on demonstrations. Sikh political leaders are demanding a revision of the boundaries of Punjab, the Sikhs home State.
