Background: Space Monkey Baker set up house, September 22, in her specially designed "bungalow" at the U.S. Naval School of Aviation, Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida.

Captain L. C. Newman, Commanding Officer of the School, officiated at the small ceremony commemorating the squirrel monkey's entry into her new residence.

Miss Baker's new home is a stainless steel cage in airconditioned/heated quarters, 79 inches long, 55 inches wide, 8 ft. high and lined with a hard surface plastic.

Two one-way windows allow surveillance without Baker's knowledge. Now that Monkey Baker has taken occupancy in an apartment, the Navy will choose a husband for her. At present she shares her "home" with another female, Spice. The two shared temporary quarters for some time and are uneasy when separated.

Reason for the honeymoon - can Space Monkey Baker, after her 1700 mile journey through space, still become....A MOTHER.
