    Background: In Ghana on Tuesday (23 March) out-going Nigerian High Commissioner Mr. Victor Adeyeye Adegoroye said he was happy to leave Ghana at a time when the relationship between his country and Ghana had rapidly returned to cordiality. The High Commissioner was replying to a toast at a luncheon given in his honour by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. William Ofori-Atta.

    Mr. Adegoroye has been Nigerian High Commissioner in Ghana for three and a half years. he is to take up a new post as Permanent Secretary of Nigeria's Ministry of Foreign Trade.
