    SOUND EFFECTS.

SCU Mr. Anthony Eden speaks:- "The task of the Geneva conference was two-fold. In the first place to try to bring peace to Indo-China itself after 8 years of hideous war, and second, to reach what agreement in order to avoid the danger of which many of us are very conscious, namely that conflict would spread and lead to more serious desalters for us all. In those two respects, I think, the conference has fulfilled its mission." Eden's voice dubbed over scenes of Mendes-France.

"The fact that this settlement has been possible is largely due to the Prime Minister of France, M. Mendes-France, who has given energy & courage to the representation of his country that has made this agreement possible."
