Background: Mr. Joseph Sieff talked in a London hospital, United Kingdom, on Thursday (January 3rd) about how he just escaped death at the hands of a gunman. Mr. Sieff is President of Marks and Spencers, a large British department store chain and a leading member of Britain's Jewish community. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine have claimed responsibility for the attempt on his life.
Mr. Sieff was shot at his home in north London on December 30th. The bullet entered his mouth but was deflected by his teeth. The teeth saved his life and he ascribed their good condition to drinking milk. He is expected to leave hospital soon.
BBC Reporter, Michael Cole, asked him how much he remembered of the incident.
