    UNDER THE AGREEMENTS, INDONESIA MAY PURCHASE OIL DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES OWNED BY THE THREE COMPANIES IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS AND OIL REFINERIES AFTER THE TENTH YEAR.OPTIONS ON THE LATTER ARE TO REMAIN IN FORCE FOR FIVE YEARS.

    THE AMERICAN AND BRITISH COMPANIES MAY CONTINUE PRODUCING OIL AS BEFORE, SATISFYING INDONESIA'S DOMESTIC NEEDS FIRST.THEY WILL BE FREE TO EXPORT THE REST, GIVING SIXTY PER CENT OF THE PROCEEDS TO THE INDONESIAN GOVERNMENT AND RETAINING THE OTHER FORTY PER CENT.
