    Background: A memorial service was held in Dakar, Senegal, Sept 1, for 63 people killed when a Super Constellation of Air France crashed in the sea, Aug 29, making its third attempt to land during heavy rain and driving wind squalls.

    The wreck was found by French navy vessels and frog-men divers, lying 10 fathoms deep about one mile from shore. There were no survivors.
