Background: The Yugoslavian Foreign Minister Mr. Milos Minic, on a recent twenty-four hour visit to Zaire, met the President of Zaire General Mobutu Sese Seko. He also signed a general cooperation agreement with Zaire's Foreign Minister Mr. Nguza Karl I. Bond.
Mr. Minic was reported to have discussed bilateral relations with the President and the forthcoming non-aligned countries conference, due to be held in Algiers in September.
As a result of the agreement signed by Mr. Minic, a joint Zaire-Yugoslav commission is to be established. The commission will watch over the enactment of the cooperation agreement, which covers economic, technical, scientific and cultural affairs.
