Background: The Eculevards Jules Ferry and Richard Lenoir where they run into the Place de la Bastille, Paris, echoed to the sound of the hunting horn the other day as M. Marcel Tardieu blew a stentorian note that announced the opening of the Foire a la ferraille (the Iron Fair). A cross between the Marche aux Puces, Petticoat Lane, and the Ciuchy, the Iron fair is an annual event at which no sale is barred.
