Background: LONDON, U.K., WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND

The world's imagination was captured in 1981 by the fairy tale story of Britain's Prince Charles and his young bride, Lady Diana Spencer. With the birth of two sons, their daily lives continue to have an almost-obsessive following among people all over the world. And now, the Royal Family have been immortalised in yet another book....this time a novelty pop-up book, detailing in cardboard picture form the public and private lives of the Royals. The Royal Family Pop-Up Book, just released, has been written by Patrick Montague-Smith, a former editor of Debrett's Peerage. Worldwide sales are expected to top half a million copies, and one man behind the book, Bill Dancer (phonetic) believes its scenes will remind people of milestones in Royal Family life, such as the first time Prince William crawled in public.
