Danny Kaye and interviewer,
Danny Kaye is In London to conduct the London Philharmonic Orchestra, he explained his reasons for doing this as, one, the kick he gets out of conducting an Orchestra, and two, the money it makes will be going to the Musicians Union Pension.
He said it would be partly serous and partly comedy.
He then talked about some of the Orchestras he has conducted in the United States, he was asked what his programme would be but he would not answer this because of the Conductors Union, he could say that it would be a Classical programme.
The interviewer asked him if he could read music, to which he answered, "No, but I can sing all the numbers we have to play". They went on to talk bout the Albert Hall and why he likes
