the japanese delegation was headed by state minister-economic planning board director aiichiro fujiyama and included four cabinet ministers and japanese ambassador in seoul shirossichi kimura. deputy premier-economic planning minister chang key-young headed the korean delegation corpirising four other cabinet members and korean ambassador to japan kim tong-jo.
the japanese delegation paid a courtesy call on korean president park chung-hee and korean premier chung il-kwon.
tomorrow morning (sept. 9), the delegates of the two nations will have committee sessions in four groups. the second plenary session will be held at the walker hill resort tomorrow afternoon.
