Background: At the Hotel Crillon in Paris, Mar 14, five well known men's tailors - the "Group des 5" - presented their spring designs for 1961.
The tailors Andre Bardot, Austen, Camps, Max Evzeline and Waltener, insist on most of the traditional aspects in their suits and sports clothes but add some "life" to them.
With the accent on smart straight lines, the "Groupe des 5" aims to create new models for men who "do not want to attract undue attention but nevertheless wish to be distinguished".
