Background: Nearly 10,000 people marched through the streets of Rome on Wednesday night (3rd March) to protest against signs of a revival of Fascism in the country. Communists, Socialists, Republicans and Left-wing Christian Democrats took part in the March. It was the second in recent weeks and follows increasingly frequent acts of violence in Italy, which almost all political parties have blamed on resurgent neo-Fascism.
