After the state of Kashmir had legally acceded to India, it held its first general elections and elected the national Conference Party to power whose leader Bakhshi Chulam Ahmed, the previous Chief Minister, was again elected the leader and hence was again invited to form a new Cabinet.

Background: After the state of Kashmir had legally acceded to India, it held its first general elections and elected the national Conference Party to power whose leader Bakhshi Chulam Ahmed, the previous Chief Minister, was again elected the leader and hence was again invited to form a new Cabinet. The new cabinet consists of almost all the regions being represented. The swearing in ceremony was a simple but impressive affair. On the 26th July, the yuvraj of Kashmir administered the oath of office to Bakshi Gulam Ahmed while earlier on the same day MIAS took oath. The other day rest of the members of the Cabinet were sworn in.
Kashmir is a beautiful Hill station in the Northe of India. It is called the "Switzerland of India" Every year thousands of tourists arrive here. The river Jhelum flows here and on the Banks of the river are House Boats where the many of the tourists love to stay. The Shikaras (Boats) very well decorated, are used for Joy rides in the river and for taking those to the House Boats who live in them. Whole of the Valley is full of beautiful scenarios a d one can find the best angels for his camera.
