Background: Mr. Frederic R. Wood, The British Minister of Foreign Development Affairs for Overseas has arrived to Amman from Beirut in a visit to Jordan for a period of three days. The visit is a part of the tour he is making to a number of Asian and Middle East Countries.
The British Minister will have during his visit audience with His Majesty King Hussein and His Excellency Mr. Wasfi El-Tell, The Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Abdallah Salah. He will also have talks with High Jordanian officials and will visit touring places, and also Al-Baka's Camp and other Jordan Projects which are financed by the United Kingdom and the Jordan Development Board.
During his meetings with the Jordanian Prime Minister Mr. Wasfi El-Tell, and Minister of foreign Affairs Mr. Abdallah Salah, he was accompanied by the British Ambassador and His Assistant.
