Shimon Peres, leader of Labour party interviewed by Jay Bushinsky.
Bushinsky: has Labour stepped back from its initial support of the Camp David accords?
TRANSCRIPT: Feres: Two points, peace process, which overrides all. Labour is very critical on the autonomy plan as it is, and our automatic support won't be given anymore.
Bushinsky: Does that mean that you will not vote for the proposals if they are brought back?
Peres: For peace yes, Autonomy is a separate opinion.
Bushinsky: Isn't there contradiction in your advocacy of settlements and a security belt for Israel?
Peres: We didn't criticise the enlargement of existing settlements but criticized the declarations and demonstration on new settlements.
