Background: Border tension continues high along Israel's frontier with Lebanon. Yesterday (Saturday) while the United Nations Security council started a five-hour debate on the latest clashes, there was a new guerrilla rocket attack on Israeli positions close to the border with Lebanon. Though the area is strongly patrolled, no casualties were reported.
Several Katyusha rockets were fired by guerrillas into the Kiryat-Shmona area -- a frequent target for guerrilla attacks in the past. The incident came just 48 hours after Israeli air and land strikes against guerrilla positions across the border. Israeli soldiers returned after taking five senior Syrian officers prisoner.
