    The film is set in the 1920's in the United States. Among the stars who attended the premiere were Mary Tyler Moore, James Fox, Beatrice Lillie, and the producer, Ross Hunter, who attended with Mrs. Nancy Sinatra.

    Guests included Lord Boothby and his bride, Donald Pleasance, Roger Moore, David Hemmings and Gayle Hunnicutt.
