SPEECH TRANSCRIPT (SEQUENCE THREE): REPORTER YUSKI (Phonetic spelling): "What feelings you have when you knew that you have been captured by Palestinians Command?"

ISRAELI: "It was...I think I was the first one to wake up from the shock and, it was well....I asked them 'who are you?' They told me 'we are Palestinian Commandos.' And they told, I was glad, just like that. They went down and my happiness is, if you like call it happiness, was a little bit supported. They treated us food and water, didn't treat us brutal, and all the time there was some who talked Hebrew among them. They told us that everything will be okay, don't worry, no-one will harm you, don't worry."

Background: Two Israeli prisoners, who hadn't been heard of since they were captured by a group of Palestinians last September in the Bekaa Valley, were due to be visited by a representative of the Red Cross on May 3. Information on the two men was released by a spokesman for the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) on May 1. On the eve of the visit, the PLO showed tape of the two Israelis held by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) to an Austrian mediator. They want to arrange an exchange of prisoners -- eight Israelis for one-thousand Palestinians, who are being held in Israeli prisons, and five thousand prisoners in the Ansar prison camp in Southern Lebanon. One of the Israelis said they had been treated well, given food and water and promised that they would not be harmed. The other six captured Israelis, who are being held by Fatah, the main wing of the PLO, have been receiving regular visits. But nobody knew about the other two Israelis, who are prisoners of the General Command of the PFLP. As well as the personal effects of the two Israelis, the PLO tape showed captured weapons and ammunition.
