Background: The film is of the American air cavalry and 196th infantry at Phu Bai airbase outside Hue about sixty miles south of the D-m*z. These Americans have been brought up from Saigon and Da Rang because of the offensive on the northern front. They complement the advisers and support personnel regularly stationed here and provide just an added bit of security.
