Background: Saigon Feb, 23 - A big ammo cache has been uncovered by the VN 7th division during a search and destroy operation named as Cuu Long 55 in Binh Dai district, Kien Hoa province in the delta of South Vietnam. It is the 1st time, government troops captured VC 75m/m field canon.- the weapons captured included 8 75m/m canons, 4 60m/m mortars, 1 anti aircraft machine gun, 335 individual rifles, 3 printing machines, 1 generator, 1 boat motor and ???0 tons of ammunitions of all kinds. The VC suffered 48 killed, 19 captured.
