Background: West German Foreign Minister Scheel continued talks in Poland on Friday (November 13) with Polish Foreign Minister Stefan Jedrychowski. The talks, resumed on Wednesday (November 11) are aimed at settling the Polish-German border issue after frontier changes during World War II.
Herr Scheel is due to fly home on Saturday, (November 14) but a team of West German experts which accompanied him at the talks is due to stay on to compare texts on any possible treaty draft.
Herr Scheel returned to Poland on Wednesday (November 11) after breaking off a week's negotiations to attend a Common Market meeting in Brussels.
