    ON HER WAY TO THE BRITANNIA, THE QUEEN MADE A SURPRISE VISIT TO THE QUEEN ELIZABETH HOSPITAL.THE VISIT WAS KEPT SECRET UNTIL SHORTLY BEFORE THE ARRIVAL.THE HOSPITAL WAS OPENED BY HER MOTHER, QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER, FIVE YEARS AGO.A VISIT WAS MADE BY THE DUKE TO THE CLINICAL LABORATORIES WHILE THE QUEEN INSPECTED THE MATERNITY SECTION.

    THE QUEEN AND DUKE RETURNED TO PORT ADELAIDE AND THE ROYAL YACHT, BRITANNIA.THE COUPLE HAD COMPLETED A PARTICULARLY BUSY ROUND OF PUBLIC ENGAGEMENTS ON THE LAST DAY OF THEIR VISIT TO SOUTH AUSTRALIA.THE BRITANNIA THEN SAILED FOR MELBOURNE.
