    MEMBERS OF VARIOUS DIPLOMATIC MISSIONS WATCHED THE CELEBRATION FROM A SPECIAL ENCLOSURE.

    SCHOOLCHILDREN STANDING SOME DISTANCE AWAY FROM THE PRINCE'S DAIS KEPT WAVING TINY CAMBODIAN PAPER FLAGS.

    AFTER DELIVERING THE SPEECH, THE PRINCE WALKED TO THE INDEPENDENT MONUMENT TO PAY HIS RESPECTS TO SCORES OF BUDDHIST MONKS.HE ALSO LIGHTED THE CANDLES INSIDE THE MONUMENT.

    LATER AT A PARADE, HE WATCHED A MARCH-PAST OF TROOPS, WOMEN'S AUXILIARY CORPS, FRENCH-MADE TANKS AND RUSSIAN-MADE ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUNS.AMERICAN-MADE PLANES TOOK PART IN A LOW FLY-PAST.
