Background: The Victor B2 is the largest of the V-bombers in service with R.A.F. Bomber Command (re-named "Strike Command" in April 1968). Its crescent shaped wings have a span of 120 feet. With the Vulcan, it forms the main deter??? force of the R.A.F. It is powered by four Rolls-Royce Conway turbo jets, and carries the blue steel stand-off-air-to-ground missile. In addition to its internal fuel capacity, underwing tanks can be fitted and the aircraft can also be refuelled in flight.
