Background: Mr and Mrs. Carter took time off on the morning of 3rd January to visit an Indian village, Daulatpur. They were welcomed there by village women in traditional Hindu style with puja. Mr. Carter was conducted around the village by the Prime Minister Mr. Desai. Mr Carter saw a bio gas plant and enquired whether such projects had been included in the energy plan. The Carters seemed to enjoy their glimpse of Indian Village.
