    Background: One of the most interesting art exhibitions to be shown in London in recent months was opened at Leighton House, Holland Park, on February 12th, by the famous ballerina, Dame Margot Fonteyn.

    The entire show has been painted and exhibited by members of the Corp Diplomatique in London. Embassy Staffs, Ambassador and their wives have all contributed to the exhibition which shows a wide and varied taste in modern art.

    The show was under the patronage of the Doyen of the Corps in London, the Norwegian Ambassador, M.Per Preban Prebansen, who was joined at the opening by the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington.

    A wide variety of items were on show and all proceeds have been donated to the Save the Children Fund.
