    Background: Visiting American table tennis players wound up their unprecedented week-long visit to the Peoples Republic of China Friday (April 16) by attending a "revolutionary ballet in Canton.

    Earlier, as this film shows, the Americans visited the Chinese capital of Peking. They played second-string Chinese players before a huge throng and lost. They also had time for sightseeing in Peking and visited the Great Wall of China.

    They had an audience with Chinese Premier Chou en Lai and chatted cordially with him.

    On their way back from Peking they stopped at Shangai and played some more.

    Everywhere they were greeted cordially and wined and dined.
