Background: With Argentina's Presidential elections of Sunday, September 23 drawing near, the capital city of Buenos Aires is being transformed by a wide-scale campaign of posters and slogans.

Every available wall has been used including those of Congress House and other major buildings. And the slogan-writers have made full use of the latest aid to their craft - the spray-can.

Of the various candidates, former President General Juan Peron is favourite - although some of the slogan-painters did not favour his third wife Isabel as candidate for the Vice-Presidency. Our film includes Vislib footage shot on August 31 this year, showing General Peron and his wife attending their first rally since returning to Argentina in June, after 18 years in exile.
