Background: With summer half way through, fashion designers and leaders are turning their minds to what the best dressed people will wear in winter. In Paris, July 22, several of the top designers in the world of millinery, staged a preview of their winter styles.
Most of the designers concentrated on tall cone-shaped designs, which gives an impression of the height of the wearer. One great attraction was a Cossack-style hat from the fashion house of Dior.
Various materials were used in making the vast range displayed, including silk, fur, feathers and Mole skin.
