HE REPLIED HE HAD NOTICED IT BUT IT WAS ABSOLUTELY FALSE AND WITHOUT FOUNDATION, AND SAID HE DID NOT BELIEVE ANY OF THE TIMES STORIES ON THE AFFAIR. THEY STORY, HE SAID IS THE NEW YORK TIMES AND IT IS NOT THE WORK OF FEDERAL PROSECUTORS. THEN HE GOT INTO HIS CAR AND DROVE OFF.
