Background: Mr. MacMillan and his wife continued his Irish holiday by coming to Kerry, from where he will fly back to London, from Cork Airport. In Kerry they are the guests of Lord and Lady Mersey, at their home at Derreen, on the south west coast, near Kenmare. Thursday their first day in Kerry was marred by rain, Mr. McMillian spent the day quietly. In the afternoon he went for a drive and met some of the local boatmen. He did not do any fishing in Kerry, as the trout fishing in the Derreen Lake, is poor at the moment. But in spite of the rain he was able to walk through the estate which he said was wonderfully relaxing. Gardai (Police officers) from Tralee and detectives are guarding the home of Lord Mersey, while he is there.
