Background: TAJ MAHAL, the marble wonder of the world, an Emperor's tribute to 'love', is getting a face lift. Time and weather have effected this architectural marvel. The work of making repairs is extremely difficult and only eight craftsmen to whom the work of cutting and working on stone and marble has been handed down the families, are working on it. It is a censeless work and needs extreme patience on the part of the artisan who stone, adjusts flower work, engraving and finally matches the marble with the rest of the work.
