    IN THE CODING AND VETTING SECTION OF THE COMMISSION, MR. S.K.H. APPIAH, THE METHODS OFFICER, EXPLAINED THAT THE SECTION DEALS WITH THE BREAKING-DOWN OF VOTERS REGISTERS INTO REGIONS, POLLING DIVISIONS AND STATIONS.

    BRIGADIER AFRIFA AND HIS GROUP WERE SHOWN THE PRINTING SECTION WHERE THE FINAL VOTER'S REGISTERS ARE PRINTED AND COMPILED, AND ALSO WATCHED INFORMATION FROM FRESH REGISTRATION FORMS BEING PUNCHED INTO FILE CARDS IN THE PUNCH ROOM.

    AT THE END OF THE VISIT, THE BRIGADIER SPOKE TO THE SENIOR STAFF OF THE COMMISSION. HE ASSURED THEM OF THE IMPORTANCE OF THEIR WORK. THE MOST IMPORTANT OBJECTIVE OF THE 24TH FEBRUARY REVOLUTION WAS, HE SAID, TO LAY SOUND FOUNDATION FOR DEMOCRACY, AND IMPARTIAL ELECTION IS A VITAL ELEMENT IN DEMOCRACY.
