Background: Viet Cong guerrillas have been driven out of the Srang area, near Phnom Penh, in a combined sweep by Khmer Republic and South Vietnamese forces. The sweep was a regular operation -- and Viet Cong forces, hearing it coming, left the area hurriedly. No fighting was reported.
