    OPERATION "JUNCTION CITY" HAS FEATURED A MASSIVE TWO-WEEK DRIVE THROUGH WAR ZONE "C" BY MORE THAN 25,000 AMERICAN COMBAT TROOPS BACKED BY TANKS AN ARMOURED PERSONNEL CARRIERS.

    UNITED STATES TROOPS HAVE REPORTED 428 ENEMY FIGHTERS KILLED IN SKIRMISHES WITH THE MAIN FORCE UNITS OF THE VIET CONG NINTH DIVISION OPERATING IN THE ZONE.

    THIS FILM SHOWS TROOPS OF THE 173RD AIRBORNE DIVISION LANDED BY HELICOPTER IN A POSITION SOME 70 MILES (112 KILOMETRES) NORTH WEST OF SAIGON, AND THEIR ADVANCE WITH SUPPORT FROM TANKS, AND AIR STRIKES ON SUSPECTED VIET CONG POSITIONS.
