    Background: The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh this morning attended Morning Prayer at the Church of All Souls at Island Bend, in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales.

    The Church was built about the middle of 1954 and consists of two small batching messes which were moved, reassembled and painted by the Snowy Mountains Authority.

    Originally the Church was Church of England, but later other Protestant denominations held services in it and it is now is used by the Church of England and the Presbyterian and Lutheran Churches.It seats 42 people.

    The Priest-in-charge is the Rev.Peter Rudge and the sermon this morning was preached by the Right Reverend K.J.Clements, the Bishop of Canberra and Goulburn.
