Traditionally huge crowd gathers for presidential inauguration but this year may be empty. Government House (Casa Rosada, literally Ping House) seen in background. This is where president has his office but not where he lives.

Background: Peron is due to become president of argentina again for the third time on friday october 12. Peron had his 78th birthday on monday oct 8 and has been keeping a low profile for weeks. He is not seen much in public and journalists are being kept away from his house in the northern suburb of Vicente Lopez. We tried for three days to get film of him and wife but it was not possible. Perons third wife, Isabelita, will become vice president. His famous second wife, Evita, was nominated vice president in 1952 but was forced ad resign the nomination because the armed forces objected. The armed forces are said to have accept Isabelita only on the grounds she resign should Peron die or become incapacitated as president. Peron, who used to address worshipping crowds of hundreds of thousands - estimates said millions - of people in the Plaza de Mayo when he was president before, has no asked the public not to demonstrate on Friday. This is not clear what he means but there are rumours that the Plaza will be loosed to the public and he will not ma??? the traditional speech to the people after his inauguration. There may also not be the traditional church service in the cathedral near the Casa Rosada. It seems it will be very low key inauguration in keeping with the recent Peron line. And as Perm is 78 a??? low keep day will be less wearing on an old man who is not in ???.
