THE DEMONSTRATORS HECKLED POLICE AND CHANTED 'NAZIS OUT OF GERMANY'. THE PROTEST PASSED WITHOUT INCIDENT AND THE ORGANISERS SAID IT WAS HELD TO DRAW ATTENTION TO THE RESURGENCE OF RIGHT-WING EXTREMISM IN EUROPE. THE NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS ONE SUCH GROUP, PERCEIVED BY THE DEMONSTRATORS AS AN EXTREMIST RIGHT WING ORGANISATION. AT A RALLY, THE HEAD OF THE BAVARIAN TRADE UNION MOVEMENT, DGB, JACOB PRESSNER, URGENT ALL DEMOCRATS TO FIGHT AGAINST THE RISING TIDE TO EXTREMISM.
