Background: Syrian aircraft on Wednesday flew missions against Israeli settlements in the Golan Heights area -- hold by Israel since the 1967 war. The air-raids were thought to be the first by the Syrians against Israeli targets during the last two years. They were in retaliation to earlier Israeli attacks.
For Visnews, cameraman Micky Wollman drove to Ne'ot Hagolan village -- which narrowly escaped during a bombing raid by two Syrian aircraft. Villagers were still picking up fragments the following day. They said the aircraft dropped four bombs, which fell in fields near the village. The only damage -- a burnt-out haystack.
