Background: Drought must be something these creepy crawlies like for there has been a very hot dry period and it has produced a crop of huge caterpillars on one of a row of Fir trees in the garden of Joburg cameraman channon' in the northern suburbs, Bryanston..

Needless to say I don't think much of having a tree full of these things as the tree must suffer.
