    Background: Mircea Gregory Carol, Prince of Hohenzollern - eldest son of the late King Carol of Rumania - was married Dec 20, at an orthodox church in Paris, to 29-year-old Miss Thelma Jeanne Williams of Tennessee - daughter of a prosperous American.

    The 40-year-old Prince - whose approaching wedding had been kept a strict secret - was formerly married to French opera singer Lena Pastor.

    Earlier, Prince Carol and his bride were married at a civil ceremony in the Town Hall at the little village of Saint-Maur, near Chartre.
