Background: The Prime Minister of Yemen, Mr. Muhsen Al-Ainy has had talks in Iraq with government leaders.
Mr. A.-Ainy flew to Baghdad on Monday (20 March) for a one-day visit.)
During his talks. Mr. Al-Ainy discussed ways of promoting harmony in the Arab World, and briefed Iraqi leaders on the tense border situation existing between the Republic of Yemen and the neighbouring People's Democratic Republic of Yemen.
SYNOPSIS: Baghdad airport -- and the arrival on Monday of the Prime Minister of Yemen, Mr. Al-Ainy. He was greeted by the deputy-chairman of the Iraq Revolution Command Council, Mr. Sadam Hussein - who is also deputy-chairman of the Regional Command of the Arab Baath Socialist Party.
For the Yemeni Prime Minister -- a whirlwind visit to iraq. In a 24 hour stay he was to meet several Iraqi Government leaders and discuss with them ways in which harmony could be brought to the Arab World. Mr. Al-Ainy also briefed them on the tense border situation between his country and the neighbouring People's Democratic Republic of Yemen. On Monday, Mr. Al-ainy flew on to visit Kuwait.
