    Background: The Supreme Council for African sport was in closed session this weekend considering boycotting all African sports events against Britain to protest against a tour of south Africa by the British Lions rugby team next month. At the opening of the Council's annual meeting in Tunis, Tunisia, on Friday (26 April, Nigeria called for a continuing of the struggle against racial discrimination in sport, and an effort to improve its world standing.
