The Finnish driver covered the 35-lap course (102.45 miles or 164.85 kms) in 46 minutes 37.5 seconds, and recorded the fastest lap speed of 134.74 MPH (216.8 kms) -- a new track record.
Finishing seconds was Willi Kauhsen of West Germany who also drove a Porsche.
Sunday's race was the third of this year's Interserie Championships, which was first organised in 1970. The first two races this year were won by Willi Kauhsen.
Kinnunen was last year's Interserie champion.
