Background: For fifty years the tramcars that clang down the streets of Warsaw have not changed, nor have some of their drivers apparently. Tramway driver Witkowski has just completed 50 years of service with the tramway. The 'COCK', as the Warsavians call it, has become something of a National joke, and is discussed by President and Peasant alike.
However, there is news of an impending improvement, and a prototype of a modern tram from Czechoslovakia is being looked at in Warsaw with, can one way, Lustful eyes.
