THE DEMONSTRATORS ARE CALLING FOR THE RE-INSTATING OF THE COMMUNIST UNITED FRONT GOVERNMENT TO THE WEST BENGAL ASSEMBLY. THE STATE GOVERNOR DISMISSED THE UNITED FRONT LAST WEEK AND FORMED A NEW GOVERNMENT UNDER DR. P.C. GHOSH. THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE, MR. B.K. BANERJEE ADJOURNED THE HOUSE INDEFINITELY TODAY, AFTER SAYING THAT THE NEW GOVERNMENT OF DR. GHOSH WAS ILLEGAL. THE STATE GOVERNOR, DHARMA VIRA LATER SUSPENDED THE ASSEMBLY.
