SOF BEGINS: "I'm convinced now that we will win the nomination at Miami Beach (cheering)....I'm convinced that we're going to restore the Democratic party to its rightful position as the party of the people, a party of hope (cheering)....and I believe that is the kind of a party and the Kind of a movement that will bring us to victory ever Richard Nixon next November (cheering)...and the first ching we're going to do is to bring America home from these long dark years of war and destruction and death (cheering)....For 25 years our country has been obsessed with fears from abroad. The time has come to begin the healing and the building of our own country. This is not isolationism....it is a recognition that we can best serve both the world and ourselves by putting our own house in order here at home." (cheering).
