Background: The St. James's Theatre in London, which Vivien Leigh fought so hard to save from demolition, is to be commemorated by panels on the front of the new building on the site. They depict Sir Laurence and Lady Olivier, marking their long association with the theatre.
The sculptor, Mr. Copnall, was at work on the panels when John Tidmarsh visited him.
